Who we are? PDF Print E-mail

Who we are?
The idea of an unconventional apartment service was born in the sunny April of 2003 over a glass of wine, cheese and a baguette. The accommodation service was set up, and what was initially a bit of fun and a second job quickly grew into a profession and a passion. Add four staff members, three temporary assistants and a trainee – and you get an ambitious crew that aims to grow even further!

Who are we for?
For everyone! Our clientele is very mixed – the businessman from New York feels as comfortable here as the young family from a small town. We welcome Culture Vultures, looking to enjoy Berlin's museums, art galleries and opera houses, couples wanting to spend a romantic weekend in one of Europe's most historic cities, as well as those who are just after a relaxing holiday. Everyone is welcome!

What’s our aim?
To offer friendly, comprehensive and straightforward service that represents excellent value for money.

Where are we located?
The firm’s office is located in the legendary suburb of Prenzlauer Berg, a central location in the former east of the city. The "wild" years that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall are in the past, but life here is still bubbly and upbeat.

I had a great time in Berlin, not least because of the excellent accomodation. I loved the light, airy interior with its high ceilings and large windows, while the balcony was great outdoor space for relaxing. It was also spotlessly clean.

The location could hardly be bettered: right in the city centre yet on a calm and quiet street. I was surprised and impressed by how much could be easily and quickly reached on foot.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the apartment and will certainly be recommending it as an ideal base when in Berlin.

The apartment is sensational! Marienstrasse is an extremely quiet street (I was never aware of any noise at night or even very much by day) and yet is only a very short stroll from the buzz of Central Berlin.

What impressed me most though was the size of the apartment, how clean and stylish it was and how well equipped the kitchen was (often neglected in other places I’ve stayed at). I loved being able to walk to all of central Berlin from the apartment and with the Tiergarten less than ten minutes walk away, it never felt like I was in the centre of the city. The local area is also well stocked with bars, restaurants, delicatessens and stylish Friedrichstrasse provides a host of great shops right on your doorstep.

In sum, I really cannot recommend this apartment enough: so often central means noisy, crowded and small but not in the case – this really is a hidden gem!

Your agent does an excellent job of handling his clients.

The apartment was spotless when we arrived, with everything in perfect working order.

We very much appreciated the weekly service providing clean sheets and towels.

The apartment lived up to its pictures and description. The furnishings are very nice. I particularly appreciated the lovely and well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms are beautiful.

The apartment is very well located. It’s easy to walk to the Museuminsel, Reichstag, Brandenburger Tor and even Potsdamer Platz. I’m a runner, so being so near the Tiergarten was great. Between the Oranienburger Tor and Friedreichstrasse stations, the access to public transport was excellent.

We will definitely want to stay at Marienstrasse when we are in Berlin, and I will recommend it to my colleagues.
